    HR Recruiter

    The position is based in North Bergen, NJ. Shuttle bus services are provided between the office and Secaucus train station/ Queens/Brooklyn/Edison, NJ.

     

    Responsibilities:

    · Be responsible for full cycle recruitment.

    · Identify candidates matching job requirements

    · Recruit and network through social media and local community events

    · Handle onboarding of new hires recruited (background checks, references, etc.)

    · Update and maintain applicant database internally

    · Partners with VP Human Resources to understand requirements of position

    · Conducts preliminary telephone screening of qualified candidates and arranges on-site interviews with VP Human Resources

    · Maintains metrics to enhance sourcing and recruitment strategies.

     

    Qualifications:

    · Must have a positive "can do"; attitude, be open-minded, and have the ability to think creatively

    · Bachelor's Degree in related field

    · Motivated by personal success and accomplishment, driven by a passion for the hunt

    · Possess critical thinking skills, supported by intellectual curiosity and sound business judgment

    · Possess outstanding telephone presence and superior written communication skills

    · Must have prior 3+ years of experience leveraging technology utilizing social media sites, job boards as well as applicant tracking systems Social media skills

    Import Clerk

    Job Description:

    • Prepare invoices received from brokers; deposit payment and initiate logging process
    • Copy, archive and organize files, bank statements, and invoices
    • Assist in resolving billing issues by identifying errors in shipments
    • Prepare Original Bill of Lading for approval and send to respective shipping lines
    • Prepare paperwork for drawbacks
    • Analyze daily and monthly duty reports and relay information to broker
    • Communicate promptly and effectively with warehouses and internal departments
    • Perform administrative duties as needed

    Minimum Skills Required:

    • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 1-3 year of experience in Logistics, Import/Export, or Customs
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – superior demonstration of Excel
    • Display strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
    • Must be organized and detail oriented

    Production Packaging Coordinator

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process incoming orders
    • Communicate daily with production in China for updates on placed orders
    • Follow up with factories and Shanghai office for each account
    • Interact with different departments to communicate issues and delays with project timelines and delivery schedules
    • Compile and organize files in the appropriate department
    • Perform administrative duties
    • Create Word documents with instructions to the factories about the packaging of the product
    • Review information from the factories and provide approval

    Minimum Skills Required:

    • Fluent in Mandarin (read, speak, write & type)
    • Being able to properly communicate and write in English
    • Attentive to detail
    • Ability to multitask and make strategic decisions
    • Experience in home textiles or fashion/apparel preferred
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas) and Word
    • Photoshop knowledge a plus
